Summer Internships in Greece
The CHS Cultural Internship Program in Greece brings together a group of college students from different institutions throughout Greece and the United States for five weeks each summer in Nafplio. Students explore their academic interests and develop their talents and skills while contributing to projects that directly support the goals and activities of the institutions.
The CHS invites four Harvard College students to fill internships teaching the CHS High School Summer Program (HSSP) in Greece. Interns will assist the HSSP faculty members in planning, coordinating, and teaching the 2-week, college-level seminar. The internship has two phases: spring preparation in Harvard, and the seminar itself in July in Nafplio, Greece.
The Center for Hellenic Studies (CHS) seeks a Harvard College student to work as an intern at the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, Greece. This program is meant to familiarize interns with the activities performed in a museum environment, and to provide high-quality professional training. The Harvard intern will work in collaboration with another intern, curators, museum educators, and communication experts, and will be assigned specific tasks to accomplish within a period of 5 weeks.
