In keeping with our commitment to engendering collaboration with Greek Institutions, the CHS has developed a partnership with the Department of Classics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. This partnership creates Joint Research Fellowships, focusing on research in the Humanities and, specifically, Ancient Greek literature and language, for young PhD holders and PhD students from AUTH’s Department of Classics.
The 2018-2019 CHS-AUTH Research Fellows, all PhD students at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, are Apostolia Alepidou, Angelos Boufalis, and Dimitra Karamitsou. Their fellowships include the pre-publication of their research at First Drafts@Classics@, a sub-section of the Classics@ online journal devoted to circulating developing scholarship. Their papers can also be downloaded in PDF format from the links below:
Apostolia Alepidou, “Near-Eastern Echoes in Iliad XVI 33–35,” December 31, 2018.
