The CHS would like to announce three new grant opportunities – one for Harvard faculty, one for Harvard graduate students, and one for both Harvard faculty and graduate students.
Grants for Course Development Initiatives
Eligibility: Harvard Faculty
Initiatives can fall under general education or any discipline of the natural sciences, social sciences, or arts and humanities. Depending on the project, the Center can help with curricular development support, workshops related to course development, and/or small grants for research assistantships. The exact model is flexible and can be worked out in collaboration with the recipient.
Grants for Student Projects in Hellenic Studies
Eligibility: Harvard graduate students
These grants are for student projects related to Hellenic Studies. Funds are meant to support travel, internships, or research related to the student’s program of study. Proposals can fall under any discipline of the natural sciences, social sciences, or arts and humanities.
Grants for Research in Greece
Eligibility: both Harvard faculty and Harvard graduate students
These funds are meant to support short stays of faculty or graduate students whose research requires travel and residence in Greece, either during the academic year or over the summer. Research can fall under any discipline of the natural sciences, social sciences, or arts and humanities.
