The Center for Hellenic Studies (CHS) offers up to five fellowships to postdoctoral researchers based in Greece and Cyprus. The program aims to support researchers whose work requires continued access to material on site (e.g. archives, artifacts, archaeological sites), and to encourage research of the highest quality on topics related to ancient Greek civilization. The fellowships are offered by the CHS in Washington, DC, and supported administratively and logistically by the CHS in Greece. The fellowship award includes a stipend of $12,000 (USD). Prerequisites for fellowships are a PhD degree (or its equivalent). Applicants must have defended their degree before October 1, 2022.

As part of the application process, applicants must submit a project proposal, curriculum vitae, a sample of published or forthcoming work, proof of citizenship or permanent residence in Cyprus or Greece, and the contact information for three references.
