Fellowships in Hellenic Studies 2023-24

The Center for Hellenic Studies is now accepting fellowship applications for the 2023-24 academic year. The program encourages and supports postdoctoral research of the highest quality on topics related to ancient Greek civilization. The program offers options for individual and collaborative proposals, and provides for flexibility in terms of residency at the CHS (Washington, DC) and levels of financial support. Prerequisites for fellowships are a PhD degree (or its equivalent). Applicants must have defended their degree before July 1, 2022.

As part of the application process, applicants must submit a project proposal, curriculum vitae, a sample of published or forthcoming work, and the contact information for three references.

Deferral requests will not be accepted.
