This beautiful monograph, “The Art Deco Murals of Hildreth Meière,” helps shed light on Hildreth Meière, and her prolific work. Since April the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, D.C. has had the immense pleasure to be home to the two large-scale panels from Meière’s mosaic triptych, “The Pillars of Hercules,” and on May 18, Open House New York (OHNY) is offering a tour of Meière’s works throughout the city. The New York Times is also devoting a beautiful article to the distinguished Art Deco muralist.
