A Special Session of the CHS Ancient Science Reading Group

The CHS Ancient Science Reading Group—an initiative formed by our fall fellows—will host a roundtable session with Marden Nichols (Georgetown) and James Zainaldin (Vanderbilt) on Thursday, December 4, at 3:00 pm at the CHS.
In this session, we will discuss Marden Nichols’ work on Vitruvius and James Zainaldin’s monograph, The Artes and the Emergence of a Scientific Culture in the Early Roman Empire. Each guest will briefly introduce their work, with discussion to follow.
