Fellowships in Hellenic Studies
The CHS fellowship program encourages and supports research of the highest quality on topics related to ancient Greece or, more generally, Hellenism. The program also emphasizes collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches that reflect the evolving nature of Hellenic studies. Fellowship awards offer flexibility in terms of residency at the CHS (maximum 16 weeks) and levels of financial support (maximum $18,000). Learn more on the dedicated webpage.
CHS/DAI Joint Fellowships
The CHS and DAI offer two postdoctoral fellowships to researchers studying ancient Greece or societies that interacted with the ancient Greeks. The fellowship award includes stipends from the DAI and CHS as well as housing in Berlin from September to December and housing on the CHS campus in Washington, DC from January to May.
