Prof. Marina Lambraki-Plaka will present select masterpieces of the great Renaissance painter Domenikos Theotokopoulos (“El Greco”), including The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, View of Toledo, and The Disrobing of Christ. Building on her scholarly work and her efforts to showcase the legacy of El Greco in the Greek National Gallery with state-of-the-art digital technologies, Prof. Lambraki-Plaka will share her views about one of the greatest masters of all time and explain some of the secrets of his art.
