αρχαίου ελληνικού θεάτρου και στη σκηνοθεσία του αρχαίου δράματος
Η εκδήλωση θα λάβει χώρα στο αμφιθέατρο Ξανθίππη Χόιπελ του MOMus-Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης (εντός ΔΕΘ-HELEXPO), στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Οι ομιλίες θα γίνουν στα Ελληνικά. Πέρας εκδήλωσης στις 21:00.
Θα προηγηθεί σύντομη προαιρετική ξενάγηση με συνοδεία των ομιλητριών στην 7η Μπιενάλε Σύγχρονης Τέχνης Θεσσαλονίκης. ΣΤΑΣΗ (ώρα έναρξης: 18:30, σημείο συνάντησης: είσοδος MOMus-ΜΣΤ, χωρίς κόστος συμμετοχής).
Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιείται σε συνεργασία με το MOMus-Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης-Συλλογές Μακεδονικού Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης και Κρατικού Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης.

Σοφία Ευτυχιάδου, Ο δραματουργός τόπος
«Έργο είναι ο χώρος» έλεγε ο σπουδαίος Ιταλός σκηνοθέτης Λούκα Ρονκόνι. Πώς καθορίζει ο χώρος τη δραματουργία ενός παραστασιακού γεγονότος; Τι είναι τα site-specific εγχειρήματα και γιατί εξακολουθούν να μας ασκούν μια απεριόριστη γοητεία; Και πώς μπορεί το φυσικό και το χτισμένο περιβάλλον να αποτελέσει πηγή έμπνευσης, φαντασίας, έναν, στην πραγματικότητα, ετεροτοπικό χώρο που προωθεί την ιδέα της ουτοπίας; Στη συζήτηση θα χρησιμοποιηθούν παραδείγματα από τη διεθνή και την ελληνική σκηνή.
Χριστίνα Χατζηβασιλείου, “I came back, but Ι am not home”: Ο Βυσσινόκηπος ως ουτοπία
Η ομιλία θα εστιάσει στην καταγραφή και τη διαμόρφωση της σκηνοθεσίας του Βυσσινόκηπου* ως site-specific παράστασης που έγινε στη Βίλα Καπαντζή (ΜΙΕΤ), διερευνώντας τη σύζευξη δραματουργίας, σκηνοθεσίας και φυσικού τοπίου στην Ελλάδα της κρίσης.

Μαρία Μικεδάκη, Η επίδραση του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος στον σχεδιασμό του αρχαίου ελληνικού θεάτρου και στη σκηνοθεσία του αρχαίου δράματος
Εάν υπάρχει ένα δημόσιο κτήριο της αρχαιότητας που είναι απόλυτα εναρμονισμένο με το φυσικό περιβάλλον και “συνομιλεί” μαζί του, αυτό είναι το αρχαίο ελληνικό θέατρο. Η παρούσα ομιλία κινείται σε δύο άξονες: από τη μια μεριά εστιάζει στο πώς το φυσικό περιβάλλον επιδρά στον σχεδιασμό του συγκεκριμένου αρχιτεκτονήματος, αναλύοντας θέματα που αφορούν την ακουστική, τον προσανατολισμό και τα κριτήρια επιλογής της θέσης του, ενώ από την άλλη εξετάζει το κατά πόσο το τοπίο αποτελεί από μόνο του ένα ικανό στοιχείο σκηνοθεσίας που – μαζί με την “ποιητική τοπογραφία” – καθιστά κάθε άλλη χρήση σκηνικών περιττή.
Σύντομο βιογραφικό σημείωμα της Σοφίας Ευτυχιάδου
Η Σοφία Ευτυχιάδου είναι αριστούχος απόφοιτη του Τμήματος Θεάτρου της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του ΑΠΘ, με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στον τομέα της Πολιτιστικής Διαχείρισης στο Πανεπιστήμιο City του Λονδίνου.
Έχει συνεργαστεί ως Δραματολόγος με το Εθνικό Θέατρο, τη Στέγη του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση, το Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών, την Πειραματική Σκηνή της «Τέχνης», το ΚΘΒΕ, το ΔΗΠΕΘΕ Κοζάνης, το ΔΗΠΕΘΕ Ιωαννίνων. Σταθερή συνεργάτης της είναι η σκηνοθέτις Ελένη Ευθυμίου. Έχει επίσης συνεργαστεί με τον Γιάννη Παρασκευόπουλο, τη Μαρία Μαγκανάρη και τη Γλυκερία Καλαϊτζή. Από το 2018 έχει αναλάβει τη στήλη θεατρικής κριτικής στο elculture.gr.
Σύντομο βιογραφικό σημείωμα της Χριστίνας Χατζηβασιλείου
H Χριστίνα Χατζηβασιλείου είναι σκηνοθέτρια και διδάκτωρ του Τμήματος Θεάτρου της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του ΑΠΘ με αντικείμενό της το Θέατρο Στα Μούτρα. Ως σκηνοθέτρια έχει εκπροσωπήσει την Ελλάδα στη Union des Théâtres de l’ Europe (Ροστόφ, 2016) και στην 50η Berlin Theatertreffen (2013), ενώ η τελευταία ακαδημαϊκή της ανακοίνωση έγινε στα πλαίσια της RADAC στο συνέδριο με τίτλο: Crossing Borders: Contemporary Anglophone Theatre in Europe (Paris, 2019). Πρόσφατες σκηνοθεσίες της περιλαμβάνουν: Η επανένωση της Βόρειας με τη Νότια Κορέα, Κοριολανός, Σωτηρία με Λένε. Διδάσκει στο Τμήμα Θεάτρου ΑΠΘ.
Σύντομο βιογραφικό σημείωμα της Μαρίας Μικεδάκη
Η Μαρία Μικεδάκη είναι Δρ. Κλασικής Αρχαιολογίας και Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια Αρχαίου Θεάτρου στο Τμήμα Θεατρικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε πολλές ανασκαφές στην Ελλάδα και την Κύπρο και έχει συμμετάσχει σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών, της Εν Αθήναις Αρχαιολογικής Εταιρείας, του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Διδάσκει από το 2006 στην ανώτατη εκπαίδευση (Πανεπιστήμια Πατρών, Πελοποννήσου και Αιγαίου). Έχει συγγράψει τρία βιβλία και σειρά επιστημονικών άρθρων και έχει συμμετάσχει με ανακοινώσεις σε συνέδρια και επιστημονικές ημερίδες.

The event will take place at the Xanthippe Heupel amphitheater of MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art (in TIF-HELEXPO) in Thessaloniki. The talks will be delivered in Greek. The event will last until 21:30.
A short optional tour of the 7th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art. STASIS/TAKING A STANCE along with the speakers will be offered (starting: 18:30, meeting point: MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art entrance, no entry fee).
The event is organized in collaboration with the MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art-Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and State Museum of Contemporary Art Collections.

Synopses of the talks
Sophia Eftychiadou, Space as Dramaturg
“The play is the space,” said the great Italian director Luca Ronconi. How does space determine the dramaturgy of a performance? What are the site-specific endeavors and why do they still inflict upon us endless charm? And how can the natural and built environment be a source of inspiration, imagination, a truly heterotopian space that promotes the idea of utopia? Examples from the international and Greek stage will be facilitating the discussion.
Christina Chatzivasileiou, “I came back, but Ι am not home”: The Cherry Orchard as Utopia
The lecture will focus on the recording and shaping of the Cherry Orchard‘s* stage direction as a site-specific performance at Villa Kapantzis (MIET), exploring the union of dramaturgy, stage direction and natural landscape in crisis-ridden Greece.

Maria Mikedaki, The Impact of the Natural Environment on the Design of Ancient Greek Theater and the Stage Direction of Ancient Drama
If there is a public building in antiquity that is completely in harmony with the natural environment and “converses” with it, this is the ancient Greek theater. This lecture concentrates on two areas: on the one hand it focuses on how the natural environment influences the design of the particular architecture, analyzing the issues related to the acoustics, orientation and selection criteria of the place, while on the other it examines whether the landscape is in itself a capable stage directing element that – along with the “poetic topography” – makes any use of stage props unnecessary.
Sophia Eftychiadou’s brief resume
Sophia Eftychiadou is a graduate with honors of the School of Drama, Faculty of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management at City University, London.
She has collaborated as a theater historian with the National Theater, the Onassis Stegi, the Athens Festival, the Experimental “Art” Theater, the National Theater of Athens, the Municipal Theater of Kozani, the Municipal Theater of Ioannina. Her stable partner is director Eleni Efthimiou. She has also collaborated with Giannis Paraskevopoulos, Maria Maganari and Glykeria Kalaitzi. Since 2018 she has taken over the theatrical column at elculture.gr.
Christina Chatzivasileiou’s brief resume
Dr. Christina Chatzivasileiou is a freelance stage director with a PhD from the School of Drama, Faculty of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki concentrating in the topic of In-Yer-Face theater. Among her directing credits she has represented Greece in Union des Théâtres de l’ Europe (Rostov, 2016) and in the 50th Berlin Theatertreffen (2013) while her latest academic presentation was at RADAC conference, entitled: Crossing Borders: Contemporary Anglophone Theater in Europe (Paris, 2019). Ηer recent works include: The Reunification of The Two Koreas, Coriolanus, Sotiria is my name. She teaches at the School of Drama, Faculty of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Maria Mikedaki’s brief resume
Dr. Maria Mikedaki holds a PhD in Classical Archeology and is Assistant Professor of Ancient Theater at the Department of Theater Studies, University of Peloponnese. She has engaged with many excavations in Greece and Cyprus and has participated in research programs of the Academy of Athens, the Athens Archaeological Society, the University of Athens and the University of the Peloponnese. She has been teaching since 2006 in higher education (Universities of Patras, Peloponnese and Aegean). She has authored three books and a series of scientific articles and has participated with papers in conferences and scientific conventions.
