Iliad Papyri p1-p704a are identical to the papyrus listings in M. L. West’s 1998-2000 Teubner edition of the Iliad. The following is a comparison of the numbers assigned by the editors of Homer and the Papyri from p705 onwards (as each fragment is published) with those assigned by Dr. West in chapter four of his forthcoming Studies in the Text and Transmission of the Iliad (Munich/Leipzig).
